Default Tonight...

I am going home and eating a tray of lasagna and a pint of ice cream, watching the Yankees-Braves game and falling asleep on the couch with a light blanket on.

I feel like I am living the existence of an 80 year old man.

Sounds like a good plan.
Rainy days affect me the same way.
Not 80 yet, but working on it.

Tim me too. This summer has been a complete letdown for me. The weather(as you know) has made it impossible to play golf or do anything outdoors. Im hoping the 4th is gonna be ok.

No kidding Mike. I went out and had a very nice dinner on Sat night at One Caroline, but with that I had 3 glasses of wine, a huge desert and 3 beers after dinner. So I was depressed all day yesterday. Alcohol does that to me, thats why I seldom do it anymore. Had fun on Sat but I payed the price yesterday.

Number of times I have played golf in 2006- ZERO

The turf course at Toga will be awesome this year with all the rain you guys have been having. Man, I just love turf racing at Saratoga.

Its always very green here. You can count on that. The guys do a great job of caring for it and we typically get a ton of rain here in the summer. Or at least it seems like it.

Euro the grass has grown so quickly this year due to the weather that the lawns around here have needed to be mowed once a week. Its like a tropical rain forest. Every day brings lots of rain folowed by a brief perios of sun and heat. I'm really down. last year we had a great summer and I played golf a lot and went to the lake a lot. Our summers aren't that long and you really try to make the most of them. I love racing but its not just a passion its also a job for me so I tend to get burned out without a weekend here and there where I do other things. I need about a week and will be watching the forecast for a 3-5 day period of nice weather. Nothing fancy, just golf and the lake and watching baseball at night. Last year on this day i was still in Vegas where I went for a 5 day trip because my friends got married. One year later I sit in the house looking out at the gloom and puddles. Ouch.

This has been an unbelievably bad May/June weatherwise. Never seen anything like it. Cant make any plans because of the rain. When it has been nice, the heat & humidity have been out of hand. Last Saturday it had to be close to 95 here, I went and got a soft serve and before I could even take a bite I had a globs of it on my hand and on my shirt. Little kids were laughing at me calling me a tool.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about that guys. I would hate bad weather. We have been very fortunate hear to have good weather thus far, but it is getting really hot and humid. I'll be going to the grocery after work for beer and $4.99/lb boneless ribeyes. I'll get them maranating and then be cutting the grass myself. Then it's ice cold Bud Light and fat steaks on tha grill.

Geez, that sounds great. I will be dodging raindrops, finishing up the details on a small deal for a client, then watching the Yankees. Another very exciting day in my life.

I will be annoying the hell out of my wife watching the Yankees and during commercials watching harness races. She just loves that. Whenever that weirdo from the Meadows announces races she just rolls her eyes. Another exciting day of my life. I'm in the mood to watch "American Beauty" tonight.

Kevin Spacey kills me with that line... "I just took a shower and jerked off. That will be the highlight of my day".

You should make that your signature. That has to be one of the classic movie quotes of all time.
