Random post-Derby thoughts ...
Listening to Haskin and Serling talk on DT Saturday morning, with Chuck getting in on the side here and there .... wonderful.
Byk's final Derby assessment - concise, opinionated, reasoned, positive, and a style that makes you want to read it. If anybody here had I'mawildandcrazyguy in their super, for any reason other than, "Hey, cool name", and "all", please fess up! They sure (nearly) all seemed to hit a wall at 1 1/16 - 1 1/8 .... Can't wait to get back to Churchill later this week, when it's quiet!

The Derby is one of the races that with the a large feild will make the jockeys more way too soon.

Looks like AGS hit wall at 1 1/8 and if CQ made the move little earlier he could have been up in 3rd

if Zanjero could have quit playing bumper cars he could have hit the board
the pick six was easy all you neded to do was include the 7 horse in all but 1 race. I hit the board the entire pick 6. I spent $8 on it. used 4 singles. Three 1sts two 2nds and one 3rd. of course I managed to get 2 out of 3 on every single stinking pick 3, exacta (first and third) and trifecta and the Supers I played were 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th most of the time too. I tell ya it's like catching mercury. I have a glimmer and no $$$ just a sense that I almost know what I am doing. Haven't had a major win since the Breeder's Cup... Thinking about waiting until this years BC to play again. ok, teasing maybe
