Monmouth Turf?

It's opening weekend at Monmouth Park and it looks like there will be a grand total of ZERO turf races run. Does anyone know what the story is? Are they saving it for the U.N. and the Breeders Cup or is there a valid reason for no turf racing this weekend. The weather has been nice all week (except for some rain last night) and the weekend is supposed to be very nice. I do know that they have a 5000 dollar claimer scheduled for tomorrow for those who look foward towards those racing gems.

This is typical, they often don't run on the turf much in May b/c of the Atlantic City "meet" (4 days this year) being all turf.

I did well on last year's all dirt opening day, will be taking a big shot again tomorrow, hoping that history repeats itself .
