Well---she was cross entered in a pair of stakes.
But yeah, he scratched her Derby week because the track came off and it appeared as though she couldn't get an easy lead on paper. Naturally, that allowed the Borel/Lukas longest shot on the board to have an easy lead and go wire-to-wire.
