Race 4

Carambola looks very solid to me today. Not going to be a huge price but a really solid shot at 5/2 or so to anchor a p-3 or to end the early p-4.

She got bet a little in her sprint debut at Gulf and pushed A. Jerkins filly, Senorita Swinger for a half before tiring. Senorita Swinger won the race by 5+ lengths . A nice looking Harty filly finished second in the race coming from way back. The third finisher in the race cam from the back as well.

In her last start,, Carambola went on the turf and ran a very nice hard closing 2nd to Pletcher's Forest Fortune, who led the entire race. Carambla missed by a short length but what I liked best is that she was bunched together with the three fillies who wound up 3rd (Henning), 4th (Mott) , and 5th (Jolley)in the race and outfinished them all.


Today, Mind Eraser (the 4th at 4/5) is back and will get bet again. TapTap Antoinetta comes off a layoff for Wolfson and will also be bet. I can't see any of the others. There should be enough speed to soften Mind Eraser.

I think Carambola rolls today.
