![]() I feel for her. But I'm sure she got her cut on that purchase. What a tough dude with that little experience running the kinds of races he has to start his career.

![]() What's her M.O. as a trainer? I mean we all know trainers who have a reputation as a horseman/woman, some are fans of the juice supposedly, some try really hard but are just ridiculous individuals and not that good, some have the ability but are waiting to get the right break, some run horses into the ground or can't read a condition book to save their life...
She seems like a solid person from the interviews I've seen. Likable and all. Obviously that isn't how you pick a trainer though, how they respond to a question posed by Quint Kessenich or Hammerin' Hank, but what about her might make you pick or not pick her for your horse? |

![]() Pitts, Simon, Nafzger, Matz, Mandella - if I had a deep checkbook, this is the type of horseman, horsewoman, for whom I would wish only the best stock, whatever they choose, and let them have free reign. They are "horse racing" in the classiest and most sporting sense of the word.
Quite frankly, I don't know how they stand working with (suffering through?) some of these owners.

![]() I don't know how she feels, but that's life in the big city. It's part of the game. She is a professional who has come a long way in a short time while on her own. Being a seasoned veteran, and having a great deal of experience, gave her a solid foundation to build upon -- and she has done well.
I think there are plenty of people who will be giving her a chance, and supporting her as she continues to build a successful stable and business. Eric |
