![]() I heard they are supplementing Kip Deville to the Californian. That means he would be coming back in 5 days. That is very surprising. I guess they figure that the race on Monday didn't take anything out of him since he never really got a chance to run. It will be interesting to see if they actually run him. It looked like it was going to be a 6 horse field. I think that is one of the reasons they supplemented him. But it turns out that it's going to be a 12 horse field. If he does run, it will be the first time in a while that he's run on something other than the grass.

![]() Is this the race that Perfect drift is shipping in for?
With that size of field, could be an interesting betting race. |

![]() well I agree that he didn't put in his run last weekend. he looked bottled up to me for the majority of the race which I don't think is where he wants to be. What is the distance of the Californian?

![]() These junk tracks give an advantage to turf horses so why not run?

![]() I'm a big Kip fan but there's no way he wins this. . . I'd expect him to need a LONG break after this race. . .

![]() Considering Kip Deville could be a Breeders Cup Mile favorite, they would be morons to run him back so quick for this race. They should be setting their eyes on the Turf Eclipse, not this race.

![]() Dutrow has done it before (and will do it again) -- and has been successful at it. I guess we will soon see.
