Dreaming of Anna - Arlington

I really REALLY think she is a play against tomorrow. She is going to be 2/5 maybe even 1/9 in this race with the stupid Arlington public betting into these pools. The whole Calabrese clan, who I support and respect greatly, will be all over her, and I just think there is NEGATIVE value in her. Horses like the 1 Forest Fortune, 3, Lemonlime, and 7 Secret Kin are all improving types, where Anna just seems to have some Sinister Minister in her. I am going out there to see her but I think she is a major play against tomorrow.

I agree about DOA, and I too like Forest Fortune a bit. Her last two races look good, and in fact, all of her efforts since Pletcher switched her to the lawn have been pretty nice. I also like the fact that she is cutting back slightly from 8.5f to 8f, and with the short run into the first turn the 1 post is helpful.
I also like the 4 (Nice Inheritance) a little. The pace might be unusually fast up front for a two-turn turf race, and if it is, she may pick up the pieces like she did in that 7.5f turf stakes she won last November. In addition, she is switching from Albarado to Graham.....which I consider a definite upgrade, especially on the grass.

No actually I am not.

I just loved Gorella. I like watching the fillies on the grass.

she ran pretty well for second. hope you used her underneath anna.

Well that would have made sense wouldn't it? Since I found an 8/1 shot that I liked, I can see how you would assume that I would play her underneath the 2/5 favorite. But I didn't.
In fact, that race was just one exhibit in the fascinating demonstration I put on today at Arlington Park entitled:

Don't worry Miraja, I took the cake today at Monmouth in that category. I played the 50 cent P5 (which had a small carryover), and the first race in the sequence was scratched down to a 4 horse field of which only 3 had any ability. I liked the 2nd choice and played a $1 combo totalling $200 ticket starting with him, and went back and forth on whether to use the other two; finally I compromised and only used the 3rd choice in a 50 cent $16 ticket with my "A" horses in every other leg (so it would have been $16 more to include the 4/5 favorite in that secondary ticket.)
Needless to say, the 4/5 won by about a length, and I had all the other legs on the $16 ticket... and the P5 paid $4600 for a buck.
