Default I miss college

So much. I am going through college withdrawal symptoms. I miss drinking 5 days a week and 2 days on the weekend. I miss smokin all day and skippin class. And having not many bills. And easy classes. And chillin with friends all the time. And not many worries. And everything.

I want to go to college full time for the rest of my life. I think I am sad cause I spent 4 1/2 years with so many people I got so close to, and I will probably never see most of them again.

I have been out a year and a half so this is kinda ridiculous.

My step daughter is going through the same thing, she just graduated two weeks ago...the day after when she was going to leave, she was a wreck! crying because she was going to miss all the friends she made the last four years. Then this past week at her graduation party, she broke up with her boyfriend of four years...go figure! Now, she's going the graduate school at Marist for two more years. Six years of education after high school? I couldn't wait until I was out of high school! But that was 25 years ago.

now I do not and never have missed high school. But college was just so great and so much fun (and easy - I went to school for horse racing) that I'm scared I will never have as much of a good time for the rest of my life. I'm just whining.. I'll go get some cheese.

Yeah, I miss those days...but actually, I miss being young! College was great but even the Army was a better time than I've had since.

I had a friend that became an emergency room doctor. After about 15 years, he burned out and went back to college to become a computer programmer. He tells me college was so much more fun the second time around. Being more mature, he didn't live and die with grades.

You should be happy to know that your legend is still well-known around the campus, Antitrust...

So what 'm sayin' is I'm glad I didn't go to feed the green monster system or drain my parents .

That may cringe some of your faces....

.....but I really don't care.

Who does that in the first place

I have to have the record of going to the fewest amount of classes possible and still getting a degree.

I would show up opening day for the 10 minutes they kept us, then for the tests I would show up when convenient for me (usually all in one day) and then partied the rest, pretty...actually REALLY COMEDY

Of course I didn't mean you,Dave.

And too kind, but the only reason I even bother is if you went to school and goofed off the whole time ,but you paid for it...well that's great. They help keep the fine staffs at the institutions heavily padded.

But if they stiffed their parents or taxpayers for their 4 year fun fest I hope they're very proud of themselves.

I detect a few like that, but I could be wrong.

I doubt it though.
