Belmont S. conspiracy ?
some questions arise about the Belmont S.
Did Jones and Porter jump into the bed with the devil ? Gomez is a go to guy with Pletcher. What is Gomez incentive to win the Belmont for Jones when Pletcher butters his bread ? Was Jones and Porter suckered after Gomez took this ride on Hard Spun ? Look at the fractions in the race. Very slow. And the speedy Hard Spun was taken back off this crawling pace ? Why ? Does this poor ride have anything to do with the Gomez/Pletcher/Tabor connection ?

my theory is that it was curlin's owners that paid off gomez. the only way curlin was going to win this race was if they went as slow as they did, and he still wasn't good enough!
