Default next years RTR

Iknow its hard to evaluate these 5f races but she did look strong in a hand ride today in NJ. NYC Girl. Looked like she scared off half the field. This fillie is not a big seceret but she looks like the real deal.

Rags To Riches was off the board going 4.5 furlongs in her debut, and her pedigree is the polar opposite of New York City Girl's.

NYCG is a brilliantly fast sprinter who will probably fizzle out down the line, as the races start to increase in distance.

She's certainly very fast and exciting for now....but keep in mind...that was a four horse field today, and none of her opponents looked like all that much on paper coming into this race.

I understand what you are saying. It looks like the scratches were a result of not wanting to face her.

I think so as well. Deville scratched both parts of his entry---though, he may have just seen two Pletchers in the race, and planned to scratch at that moment.

This horse worked very impressively at a 2-year-old in training sale...and is very fast....however, being by confirmed sprinter Forest Camp, I don't see a bright future at route distances.

Sure looks like a good buy for $110K though.
