Hollywood 6/15
What, no talk?
Is Baffert sneaking one in on the 6th with the 7 horse, look at that slow work over the surface (obviously stabled at SA), think he is very playable |

Will Papageorgio get his first win of the meet?
He's got a shot in the fourth. Stay tuned. |

Mike Smith is making the jocks at Hollywood look bad.

The Cushion track at Hollywood has played to all types, but speed has had it's problems sticking. I like horses that are working on Hollywoods track over ones coming in from Santa Anita. Still been hard for me to string winners together.

Thanks 2Hot. We'll play the early races and see what we can get after. Appreciate the input.

Local handicappers like horses with turf form running on Cushion track and have had some sucsess with the angle. Friday nights can be alittle difficult, some fridays will bomb the long shots that you couldn't bet if knew they were going to win. I am going to try one in the 7th Mr. Katz, a horse that might be close enough to get the lead when the speed backs up.

Headed to the Borgata tonight to booze up and pull some baby bunnies. Will not ever play against the house and I doubt we'll be there long enough for a Hold Em excursion, so my only form of action for the night is on the cushion. In more ways than one.
Hollywood Race 1 1$ Pick 3 R1- 5,6,7 R2- 3,5,7,11 R3- 3,5,7 3x4x3= 36$ for a buck Hollywood Race 6 1$ Pick 3 R6- 1,4,10 R7- All (Decided this was as good a race as any to do hit the button) R8- 5,8 ( Baffert's charge here is my choice of the day, he'll now run 10th lol) 3x7x2= 42$ for a buck (halved this one with brother as he didnt like early pk3) Good Luck to those playing tonight!! Squirrel master is on the loose starting now!! Kimbo next weekend!! Night in Venice in about a month. Charlie Sheen binges await. Not really, but oh well..

It wasn't that long ago when Michael Baze couldn't crack the top 10 at Monmouth...now he's tops at the 'Wood. Sad commentary on the jock colony.

You gotta love Friday night....I am retired from horses until Sunday, and then re-retiring until Friday night (only because I am in Vegas and playing in a tourney on Thursday) |
