He was leaving on good terms. Juan Rivera is due back pretty soon anyway!

They are thrilled to get rid of that big mouth.Just about every other guy would take his 6.5 mil and try to win a ring with an obvious playoff team like these Halos.I really don't think he is all that good, anyways. He looks like a 40 year old out there.

He can't expect to play every day on a team with good young hitters when he's hitting around .250.

Scuds: it was a mutually agreed decision...He loved it there but wanted to play more....his play didn't dictate that he should be in the lineup...so they cut him loose.

They spent 6.5 million on him.Now they are willing to let him walk. They aren't stupid. They know he isn't worth anywhere near what they paid, but most of all,Scioscia wants no part of a self- centered cancer like this. There is no guarantee the kids will hit in September, but they know this guy's skills are decayed.

Aren't the Dodgers better off with Mia's husband at third than this other RedSox castoff. If you want to know why the Halo's cut him all you need to do is read some of the stuff about his little tour of duty in Toronto........

I was only trying to get a rise out of Scuds! I think based upon his recent performance that GPK would be a better option at third hitting with a 3 wood than Shea. The truth is all that clubhouse cancer stuff would not be an issue if he were hitting .320 18 45. The fact that he is awful makes him expendable.

If he was hittin .320 he would be playin'...........I really would like to know who is gunna give him what he wants(a starting job everyday.)What makes him think somebody else wants him starting ?He doesn't look like an athlete to me.He and Kent look like 2 cops looking to retire at 40.They want to "Watch their kids grow up." Shay looks like a designated hitter who will hit .240-.280.........Who is gunna take him?
