Default Somebody hit the Hollywood Pick 6 on Monday twice with investments of $2 & $4?

This smells like the Breeders Cup with the Drexel boys. The same person had the ticket twice...I wonder if he want two deep in the last leg using the 2 & 9

Hope there are some answers coming, the same owner of $2 & $4 tickets hit for
1.1 million.

the article said he bought them at a terminal 17 seconds apart.

that implies they have a record of when they were sold.

it's pretty amazing that anyone ever hits on a $2 ticket but i don't think you'll be seeing an investigation.

I guess they were hard tickets so that they couldn't have been manipulated by accessing the binary file and changing the numbers without affecting the time stamp associated with the tickets.

It would have to be an autotote employee with access to the file(s) and just added 2 live tickets to the will pays for ALL in the 8th.

It was done before, it this thing paid $30K, nobody bats an eye.

Ticket holder hasn't come forward to cash yet.

To me it seems real suspicious.

if i recall correctly from the bc scandal the info on live tickets is transfered after the 4th leg. thus the single-single-single-single-all-all structure used in the bogus bc tickets.

there would be no way for an autotote employee to manipulate tickets once the 5th leg was run. the existence of a physical ticket which will carry a bar code showing when and where it was sold is another reason to distinguish this from 2002.

i suspect autotote, having been burned already, has additional security in place.

and anyone smart enough to beat whatever security is in place would also probably be smart enough not to try this on a big day. they have chris harn's example to look back on.

Los alamitos is the main hub for So Cal, isn't it?

It it were bought at a terminal, it would be time stamped. If so, they may even have video of it.

I phucking can't stand hearing about the BC scandal. Since I went to Drexel and am obviously a racing fan I must have gotten 22 calls asking if I knew these jackoffs or was involved.

They were in TKE fraternity which was the biggest assholes on campus, a bunch of overprivledged and lazy bums who these clowns epitomize.

I second the fact that the TKE frat boys are the worst. Had to throw down with a few of them a few yrs back. Coward punks, some of which will never again touch a random girl's a$$ without thinking of the shalacking I gave them. Not to mention thier front door that needed to be replaced after my older brother Matt caught wind of it. The motley crew that he assembled is still probably talked about in University City.

That's what I'm wondering.
If they created dozens of $2 and $4 tickets, instead of one large sized ticket.
In that case, it would make sense if they were submitted seconds apart, as perhaps the only difference in the two tickets was going 2 deep in one leg instead of a single.

Perhaps he was playing his odometer reading and he wasn't sure if he should use the reading when he left the house or when he parked at the track? So he played both..LOL

There was a lady at Golden Gate that did that and hit the P6.
