Default Churchill Spring meet: Up and Down

Now the results of attendance and on-track wagering at Churchill was good news, but off track wagering was down. I wonder what the reasoning for people not betting on Churchill was. I for one didn't bet the meet but just for a few days. In my opinion, the racing a Churchill is awful. I would rather wager my wagering dollars at Belmont and Hollywood.

Bingo. I usually play Churchill and Arlington throughout the summer. This year, I've played two Churchill cards and one Arlington card because I can't stand using Xpressbet.

Belmont and Hollywood have gotten 99% of my action this summer because CD and AP are not on Youbet.

Wish this wasn't the case either, I have done well at Arlington when I have been there, also CD, but Belmont, can never figure that joint out, especially on the dirt. Hollywood I have done well at, at least two weeks ago was good, not so much recently.

Not only no YouBet, but no IRG, which dwarfs the YouBet handle.

No, no, remember, Churchill insists (after Derby) that this has nothing to do with the lack of handle.

When is Churchill going to wake up and realize this. I personally don't use either Youbet or Express Bet, but I know many of you guys do. It just seems to me that they are being quite stubborn over this.

Some of us go there a lot more after the Derby is over! Good horses and a lot more space...

this is great to hear cause i did the same for the same reasons. after the derby I played Churchill and Arlington only on a limited basis, basically a few big days. instead I concentrated on Hollywood almost exclusively, and enjoyed it very much I might add.

I figured if enough people did like me then it might send a message that they won't forget.

Imagine what the Arlington pools would be like if they were on Youbet?

You got that right. Churchill is a fantastic place to visit. I usually make it a habit to go at least 5 times during the spring meet.

Same here - well worth over an hour drive for me, and compared to Keeneland you can actually sit your azz down for a minute here and there!

Almost time for River Downs

Where do you sit??

I've actually enjoyed my trips there to the air conditioned dining area The paddock area is very nice, but watching from the asphalt apron is a better spot for frying eggs!

I had a feeling that might be the case, with "calls" in his name, but i didn't want to presume... .... You know i don't read here enough to know everyone!

But that is very awesome.

Default wagering

living in cal. to wager all major tracks I need 3 wagering sites. tvg, youbet and xpressbet. added the latter recentlt to play a few cd races. definitely not one stop shopping
