Doesn't happen often but they truly were giving it away that day. |

![]() It didn't help that Hurricane Andrew took another swing towards Miami right after race 1 that day. It absoultely monsoon'd for at least a half hour. The turf was already yielding because of the rain leading up to it. So that killed all the turf sprints.

![]() Rain, off turf and $2 minimum are the reasons I read. But they did handle about $10 mil on the card (I think handle was about $12 mil last year). I was out of town, so I missed the card.
