Default Sumwon - The Saratoga Diaries

I fully expect all DeeTee-ers at Saratoga to stop by and see the girl daily, and post updates frequently! ("Sumwon woke up, ate some hay, and had a good bowel movement" )

On ATR today, Steve said he stopped by to see her twice today, both times she was sleeping. Any update on that?

She was sleeping the third time too...

Was annoyed apparently by the drive from Louisville according to Cherie. Likes to lay down all afternoon.. and all night.. and was none too pleased at having to stand in the van for 17 hours...

She looks great though and appears pleased with the new digs... Barn situation could not make it easier for people to come see her. More tomorrow.

Have to say, it's nice having her here.

I'm so glad Cherie is with her, she'll fuss over Sumwon and know every detail of how she is feeling until Chuck arrives. Sumwon is "her" girl!

It's gonna be terrific for the DT-er's at the Spa to be able to see her on a regular basis, watch her regular morning works, learn her personality, etc.

Thanks for the update!

yeah, she does like to lay down. hope she doesn't stay in a snit long. poor gal, i'm grumpy enough when it gets dark and i can't read while tony drives. can't imagine standing up thru the whole thing too.

but then, this trip--no reading. had to drive most of the way, his foot is still giving problems.

but i digress.

glad she's settled in--hope everyone in that neck of the woods enjoys her!! looking forward to her return to the big easy, lot closer for me!

I went to see Sumwon today!

Her days of slumming it at Mountaineer are long forgotten and as she stopped to take in the sights while she was being hotwalked. The look on her face was of complete pleasure in her new life as a Saratoga Socialite living off 5th Ave.

And for those owners who were worried if Chuck, Cheri and Sumwon were being fed their treats, I dropped off carrots, peppermints and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

Pictures to follow...it was a clowdy day at Saratoga so hopefully they came out OK.

Hi Steve..If the DTers can share some of the love ( and treats) with Top Royalle, it would be much appreciated. Do Sumwon and TR get along?

from PolyHorse blog:
Top Royelle worked nicely yesterday at Churchill and will travel to Saratoga, leaving Sunday afternoon and arriving Monday morning. We will be stabled in the Annex across from the backside of the Oklahoma track off of 5th avenue.

I said hi to him or her this morning.

I've got my pictures loaded to the computer...the photos of her at the training track are very dark though. I could email them if anyone wants to see. (I don't know how to load them here)
