![]() I played a $1.00 trifecta last week, it payed 1073.00 for $2.00 so I should have won $536.50. I was only paid 300.00, I went wait a minute wheres the other 236.50? Got on live chat and asked was told that the max pay was 300x $1.00 bet , so I got upset and informed them that I thought that sucked, and that I had used other betting sites and was paid full payout and that if this was what they were going to do ,I would take my business elsewhere , not 5 min later the accopunt has been frozen , no betting , no deposits, no withdrawals. I then received an email saying they needed copies of drivers license(me and husbands() credit card bank statement and authorization letter to prove that I am who I am. Sent that still no momney no nothing, which I will probably never get now as I told them to shove all where the sun doesnt shine. Has anyone ever had this happen to them, and any advice as to how to deal with these people? Thanks

![]() unless you have youbet.com, express bet, or TVG.
other sites like Bodog, Sports.com, SportsInteraction.com. They all state that they only will payout approximately 300 to 1. which really sucks b.c for example. The Del Mar late Pick 4 Sunday, was 80 grand. On these sites you would only get for a 75 dollar Pick 4 ticket 22,500. only a quarter of it. So it comes with the territory.

![]() threatening to take your money out probably wasnt the smartest move ever, but in the future, you probably want to only use services that multiple people have referred you to.

![]() The best thing you can do is to discuss these things with the racing board in that state because they WILL lean on the service to do the fair thing. I had a similiar problem with YOUBET a couple of years ago and none other than Richard Shapiro from the Calif. racing board stepped in and over time got my money.
Just don't yell at people and always always print every peace of documentation that supports your position. Services have the upper hand on alot of things but you do have some resources through the tracks who the services have to have as good faith customers and the admin from the racing boards. You make enough noise the right way and you'll get your money... |

nope....they would pay $300. They don't care how much you invest into the race. you still only get 300:1 and it is a base dollar ticket so you'd get $300 even though you invested $75. You could invest 300 to hit it and break even if it pays mores than 300. bottom line, don't bet with these outfits. but if you insist on it don't bet exotics. |

![]() I use one of those other wagering alternatives and hit a superfecta that paid 420.50 for a $1 dollar ticket. All Be it I spent $17 on it, but They still paid me the full price of it.
The way it is explained on these websites is 300-1 cap. means for every dollar on the ticket that you hit, the maximum you can get back is 300 to 1.

![]() some websites have a 300:1 max - some have higher max's on exotics.
if they say 300:1 then that is the base of the ticket regardless of investment/combinations i am sure this is true. and I dont want to debate it. but i would venture to guess that if you invested $200 and it paid 60,000 I hardly think you wouldnt get the 60k. that is still 300:1 on investment but not on base. I also think if it paid 5100 for the 17 ticket they would have given you a hard time. they might even take back the 120 overpaid already. bottom line... I would always use a US based site that is reputable and submits their action to the track ( xpress, youbet, etc ). unless pinny comes back to the US Last edited by robfla : 07-24-2007 at 10:46 AM. |

![]() I know I shouldnt have lost my temper , but I dont bet alot ,and I had a feeling about a long shot in the race and used it, so when it hit,Iwas like yeah! I dont use pps or anything, just a small town horse race nut , so like I said earlier when I win I get excited only bet once in awhile. I have used amertab/winticket in the past dont know why I signed up with the other. And they did tell me that no matter what total cost of ticket you only get 300x base bet amount so hope no one here uses them. Thanks for input and I am looking forward to Saratoga have never played the track so hope (gut) feelings and luck will be on my side.

Here is part of World Sports Exchange's "rules" for horseracing bets: "The maximum amount for any win, place, or show wager is $2,000. The maximum amount for any exacta, quinella, trifecta, or Daily Double wager is $200. Trifectas pay track odds, with a maximum payout of 300-1. Exactas, quinellas, and Daily Doubles pay track odds, with a maximum payout of 100-1. " This is pretty typical, though it's important to check the rules of any racebook you might be interested in. World Sports Exchange is on of the few offshores that doesn't cap WPS odds. Some racebooks don't cap the odds on tris or other exotics, but have a cap on the total you can win from an individual race. At CRIS (Bookmaker), the cap ranges from $30,000 at major tracks down to $5000 for very minor tracks. --Dunbar

Here's what you should do. Contact SportsbookReview.com ("SBR") and tell them your story. SBR has been an effective advocate for resolving problems with offshore sportsbooks. Don't get your hopes up too high--SBR is much more effective with better-rated racebooks. Send your email to assistance@sportsbookreview.com. btw, I don't see where Allhorseracing has been taken over by YouBet. It seems to still be operating independently. --Dunbar

![]() here's allhorseracing's rule:
============ Ticket Pay out Limit Rule Win, Place, Show wagers pay full track odds. All other wagers pay full track odds up to a maximum payout of 300/1 your original bet amount. There is a Cap Payout Limit of $25,000 on any winning ticket. There are no limits on how much you can place on any one horse or bet type. However, you will see that each ticket has a bet limit (typically $1,000), you simply need to make multiple bet tickets to get to the bet amount you seek. There is a $20,000 limit per betting ticket. There are no house odds. If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded. ============ |

Also, there is no way you would be liable for taxes on a winning bet which you never received. It is not a winning bet unless they pay you. Offshore sportsbooks and racebooks often make you jump through some ID hoops as a stalling measure. At best (from their perspective), you will not comply, and they will get to keep your money. At worst, they get to keep your money a little longer while you struggle to meet their ID requirements. --Dunbar

![]() thanks dunbar will try that so far no response from allhorse, as far as the payout the $2.00 tri paid 1073.00 I played a $1.00 tri that cost $12.00 received 300.00 all I know is the person I talked to said 300x the dollar I bet was the payout . I asked what happens if I play a $1.00 superfecta and it pays say $10,000.00 what would I get if I won he said 300xthe dollar bet. Dont really know why I used them (stupidity)? anyway lesson learned will stick with youbet or winticket from now on
