So....Shotten Heimer is 10-1 in a MSW on Wednesday and Jamie Sanders feels compelled to cross enter here? Wow.

He was 5th with less than a furlong to go in that MSW race at MTH. He will get another pace setup...but I'm not crazy about his chances.

I agree with you though, 12/1 is a bit high for his morning line. I think the public will bet him down to 8/1 or so.

The amazing thing is she had two far worse that also nominated to the race. Neither had been within 15 lengths of the winner yet. So she actually showed some restraint just throwing Shotten Heimer in here.

I doubt if I will be playing this race.....but I will be rooting for Tagg's colt. His dam is by Sunday Silence, which unfortunately we just don't see enough of over here.

Remind me to get a picture of Fed Watcher on Thursday. One of the strangest looking colts I've seen.

His Daddy has strange eyes too. I personally think he's gorgeous...

Here's a pic of Sok Sok at the sale in April at Keeneland (nice looking colt):

To each his own I suppose. I thought his sire was weird looking too. I blame it all on Unbridled's Song. He was an ugly horse, and he has sired a bunch of ugly (not to mention ridiculously frail) horses.
Getting back to the race though, Ready's Image's Tremont makes that 9/5 ML seem about right. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon in that one, and if he starts like that again, the outside post shouldn't hurt him too much.
