Default O.k....who Is Going Where?

Which teams are gunna make moves? Dodgers have no choice.Hands are tied.Lowe left early with an oblique or something.Wolf won't have anything when he comes back. It's one thing to have a whole team of hitters that can only hit bad/mediocre pitching(they love it.)It's another thing to have a shortage of quality starters. They are gunna blow out the arms in the pen real quickly this way.I don't think Looney,or Broxton are going anywhere. They are too good.As far as I am concerned,Kemp will never hit good pitching, but can hit the triple A guys pretty hard.I have no idea why Bettameat isn't a better hitter. He has a better swing than Kemp. This guy looks like a real hitter, but how long do ya wait for him to grow up? I think Ethier is a better hitter against good pitching. So,i'd get rid of either Kemp,or Bettameat,or both.Dodgers are the one division leader with no shot in the post.I have been a fan most of my life, but this bunch can not hit quality pitching. That is simply the case.If you look at how they do against the Halos,Padres,Mets,or Atlanta, you'll see they aren't able to take a series very often, cuz they can't hit anybody good.I don't know how they collected a bunch of guys that feast only on bad/mediocre pitching, but they did.Martin,LOONEY,AND Ethier may be able to hit quality stuff down the line, but not now.Furcal,Kent,Nomar, against quality pitching? Nope.Ain't gunna happen.Gonzo? Singles maybe(against top pitching.)So,they damn sure better get more pitching or it will be 3 and out again in the post.

The Dodgers are nosing around Texas about getting Mark Teixeira. They're dreaming about getting local product Clayton Kershaw from the Dodgers, but that's a long shot. James Loney likely would go the other way in any deal with the Dodgers.

oh by the way Gagne to the Tigers.

Tigers are gonna get either Brad Lidge or Billy Wagner. I have a feeling one of those guys are coming in. I hope it's Lidge, as he also has ties to Notre Dame.

Wagner not leaving New York.

How about the ND killer himself - Mr Fumanchu - Sal Fasano. Just Kidding, but I think he's now sporting the Rod Beck cut now.

my bad, I wasn't thinking straight and got Dan Wheeler mixed up with Billy Wagner, a little too much to drink for me.

I don't know why the Dodgers would want Texeira. From what I've seen,he is another guy that mainly hits bad/mediocre pitching well, and pops up etc. against good pitchers.Dodgers won't make the post if they stand pat with their present starting pitching.Martin,Looney, and Broxton are untouchables.Bettameat,Ethier, and Kemp should be available, but I think they are under the illusion Kemp will start hitting decent pitching.I see very few signs of this being true. You don't face good pitching every night though, and he can sure hit triple A type pitching.

I'd hate to see them trade Kemp,or Loney. Bettemit can go.and probably a minor leaguer. They do need some "pop"in the lineup, but at what expense. I'd like to see a strong starter or a consistent setup guy.

Why would Billy Wagner be going to the Tigers?

I live in NY & have never heard anything about that trade.

I corrected myself, I meant Dan Wheeler of the Astros. I got the names mixed up, I know that Wagner is not leaving the Mets.

Indians need starting pitching badly. It's a miracle they are only 1.5 behind the Tigers and leading the wildcard chase with only 2 and a half starting pitchers so far this year. Everyone says they are going after bullpen and outfield help. They need a starting pitcher much worse. Lee and Westbrook still sporting plus 6 ERAs with no signs of getting any better. If they can't get anyone or if Miller or Laffey from the minors don't step in the rest of the year, they will not make postseason. They simply can't stay where they are trotting out Lee and Westbrook every 5th day and survive. I blamed their injurires for struggles for much of the season...but they have been back long enough that you have to say they are just stenchful period.

Tomko getting beat up tonite is the best thing that could of happened, because the Dodgers gotta realize that piece of dung isn't gunna get it done.Don't know why Grady likes this charcoal artist.I heard that they had a meeting and decided no starters(that are available by trade)can help them. They said they are gunna look more for middle relief.Well, hey man,Detroit's pen gave it up badly today. So,it ain't like you are gunna outbid them (easily) for relief help.
