Default Marylou Whitney Recovering from Stroke

For those concerned, I came across this story from the Associated Press. I hope she can make a full recovery.
here's the info:

Whitney cancels annual Saratoga ball because of stroke

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) -- The leading socialite of the
Saratoga racing season canceled her annual Whitney Ball because
she's recovering from a minor stroke.
Marylou Whitney announced the move with a statement yesterday.
The 80-year-old Whitney is a fixture of the thoroughbred racing
scene. The annual ball in August draws other big names in racing.
The statement said Whitney suffered a minor stroke Memorial Day
weekend. She is recovering at her home in Kentucky and will not
keep up her usual Saratoga schedule, though she expects to visit.

Best wishes to her and her recovery. Her social events mean the world to her and for her to cancel them means that her Dr. must have been admanant about her taking it easy. She loves Saratoga and racing which makes her one of the good folks.

She's a huge part of Saratoga. And racing. May she have a speedy recovery and many more years of good health.
