Default Little league baseball

I'm sitting here watching this preseason game on espn(chiefs-dolphins) and over the course of the last 2 hours, they have made 8 references to the little league world series,(including stating 4 times that they are showing 32 games.)However, they have not said one thing about anything horse related. My favoratie comment was from jaworski and i quote, (The little league world series, its the greatest sport being played in the summer.) Now i know everyone is not a horse racing fan, but honestly now, how many people actually watch the LLWS? And for the record it doesn't count if you watch tune in to see a race on espn only to find they are going extra innings.

LLWS is better than watching MLB any day. at least the kids play thier guts out. plenty of nice defensive plays and big hits.

Uh no, I'm not saying anything negtive about the kids at all. I'm not a baseball fan at all, so i can't really comment on the kids being better then mlbers, but honestly, can this best event that espn has to push. One time, I would love to see them mention anything about a big horse race during a broadcast of a football game. Maybe its just me.....

thanks scav, i just think i have a vendetta against little league baseball for horse races i've missed because of the expanded coverage. You have to remind me to let it go.

Cardus, I knew you were joking, but its really hard to convey intonation of my sentences on the internet. I don't dislike little league baseball(btw, that kid had a great catch at the wall) I just think that there are other sporting events that espn should be covering in the same way.

I don't typically tune into espn either, but really, thats what started my horse racing bug. I really think if they would card some of the big races every saturday during the summer( what else are they going to show... wait i know.. NEXT) then i think there would at least be more casual fans of the game.
