Default 8/18: Saratoga (Day 22)

Continue to leak money with little but small exotics to show for efforts and an inability to string winners together.. Bankroll drops another net -$40 Friday to bring total to -$340.00 for the meet.. So you lost a couple of bucks on the toughest meet of the year.

I'll send you some meds with the DT agreement......

Hooves accidentally left Toga with your MoJo boss but he promises to give it back. Hang in there and we'll be celebrating your "Karnak" capabilities in no time. Your still the best capper in the game......you need a few days off take 'em!!!

Steve, if you would stay away from those pick four and pick six bets you would be way ahead for the meet. Same thing happens to me, but I never learn.

I know what you mean, but I'm ahead for the meet now...

Even though I didn't get every bet in that I'd have liked, this was the day that was overdue..

What keen insight you have here.....perhaps you could post your plays for tomorrow at Saratoga and enlighten us to how a real handicapper like yourself gets the job done.

Hopefully your not far from home this morning, as driving as drunk as you have to be may lead to serious injury for us all.

Why don't you get some sleep and come back and read some of the posts that outline Byk's public track record handicapping horses over the last few years.

The blind squirrel may find a morsel now and then, but Byk's free lunch of picks has been a banquet so consistent in results, it is a promise that you will never starve playing along following the instructions

You might want to explore the concepts of courtesy and appreciation when you visit here though as this site is not a place to disparage the host.

I wouldn't call the above 'negative'. A cheap shot maybe, but not negative. The selections are simple to follow.. There's a horse I think is the best value; a horse that's I see as the most likely winner; and 2 that are ones that have shots and I like as exotics includes. It's a roadmap. You can key one of the top two selections with the other three (as I frequently do), or box them up, or build pyramid tickets using them. Considering that P3/P4's, exactas, tris and supers are the only place for horseplayers to beat takeout and make money, offering people 4 horses in races with 7 or more entrants is an imperative.

I'm sorry you have such a low opinion of how I approach the game. I'll stand by what I consider a solid track record of selecting races. Based on the feedback I receive here and from "At the Races", I seem to have made a number of people a good deal of money over the last several years.

This guy has no clue you are providing a service with these picks. Many people actually charge $ for this type of info.

Peetsa - It is not a contest, or Steve would pick specific plays.....and would crush you by the way.

While some may find the only way to beat the takeout is through exotic wagering, remember nothing is one size fits all in this game.

This is certainly not a knock on Steve's approach. There are certainly benefits to playing exotics. It just isn't the only way, and the approach has some negatives as well.
