Joined me on 'ATR' this evening in the first half hour. A long track record of success in the industry.. widely-respected and well-liked.. A very nice addition to NYRA's executive staff filling the Bill Nader role..

One of the most respected racetrack executives in the industry. One extremely positive aspect that you get with Handel, is that his strengths are in very key and crucial areas -- governmental affairs and racing, account wagering, casino/VLT issues, and so on.

This is a very positive move for NYRA.

I understand that by hiring Handel NYRA truly believes that they will be keeping the NY contract. This is certainly positive.
