Default 8/31: Saratoga (Day 33)

Just could not resist plunging on a few Thursday despite obviously goofy card, but missed the best opportunity of the day with 25-1 Sleek John, who was high on my radar screen, winning the 3rd race ($53.00). (Truth be told, I was "busy" making shrimp salad for Sciacca as race went off...). Dropped $60 on the day.

Much better action available on 2nd twilight racing card Friday leading into what should be a terrific closing weekend... Was hoping for a double carryover into this afternoon, but despite glut of juvy sprints, "6" was hit and brought back $200,000 Thursday.

Is there a more important priority than keeping Sciacca fed?

What did Sciacca say when you presented him with a 53.00 tab for his sandwich?

Hell of a tout here my friend. The board was hot on him early and the TG sheet plus his "T" works screamed PLAY ME. Hope you had this horse straight and the exotics.

Scavs:

Agree. A major sheet play. Had an okay win place on him and alive to the 1 and 3 for $25 doubles. Lets see if we can close the deal....

At least you got something right. I haven't hit a ticket since my last day at Toga.

And would you figure I played the 4 in the DD and got sucked into the 1 and 3, when I used the 8,9 on my pick threes and fours. Frustrating. Not thinking clearly
