I don’t believe this will ever happen, even though it would be an awesome addition.

GO CUBS!

Yeah, Alex Rodriguez plotted out this story to get more attention...

By the way his current season surpasses any season by any Cubs player.........................ever.

Ernie Banks had to have a season like his in that year's terms. I don't know if he did. A-Rod is good but we already have a serious 3rd baseman. I am cool with our team, things are all good right now, at least.

What about Dawson? MVP on a last place team, that is a pretty serious year

Not even close...

What about if A-rod moved back to SS? With National League pitching and playing in the Central with lots of games in Houston, Cincy and 1/2 of his games in Wrigley.... .320 65 160 ???

Pretty salty top of the lineup
Soriano
Ramirez
Arod
Lee

I am not complaining because I actually scored down there on Saturday after the game, some asian persuasion, people were getting so crunk at The Cubby Bear. I ended up near UIC which is like the opposite end of the city, I have no idea how or why but I woke up at like 1am all confused and got on the 'L' to collect my thoughts and get back to an area I know better. Pretty hilarious.

Hack Wilson drove in 190 runs in one season. NOBODY has ever driven in that many runs in one season.

I dont think an active player can have a stake in a team. I am not 100% certain, but I believe that is the case. A-Rod is by far one of the top 5 best baseball players playing the game right now when you look at what he can do. He can hit for power, hit for average and he can steal a base here and there. I wouldnt sign him to a 5 year deal that is for sure. I say that a three year deal is more logical. But that won't happen.

Anyway, what is the status of Mark Cuban buying the Cubs?

You got me on this one. 1930 was by far the pinnacle of ol Hack's career. Though he did not win the MVP or even finish in the top 5 that year. Can you name the winner?

I would be hard pressed to find one other player remotely close to Arod let alone 4.

Cuban is dancing right now, no time for the Cubs

You're correct..no player can have any ownership position in a team.

I think Cuban would love to buy the Cubs...He was in the bleachers last week and saying all the right things. But the old boys network of Selig and Reinsdorf want no part of him in Chicago. Ironically, Selig supposedly wants a group to buy the Cubs led by a guy who is a monority owner of the Brewers. That is the ultimate insider's game

The 4 I would choose would be Vlad, Holliday, Cabrera and Pena. But A-Rod is number one in my book. He is an unreal player. And willing to change positions without whinning about it. Say what you want, but the guy is a gamer and can play the game.

Didnt Cuban have like hip replacement? Also, what was up with that tux he was wearing the other night.
