2 tricky races there and dont forget the nice racing at the Curragh, US Ranger back and Lizard Island in the Beresford. If he (LIzard) wins nicely, I wouldnt be surprised to see him go to the States for the juvi Turf or something like that (thats me completely speculating though!!)

There is every chance that US Ranger could get beaten today, i think. He's had a while of the track and he is entitled to need this.

As far as Ascot is concerned, i really fancy Ask today. He seems to go well fresh, soft ground won't be a problem and he is still improving. I'm not convinced Honolulu is as good as many are saying, and the drop back in trip won't help much either. It isn't a brilliant race, but it is competitive. Ask for me though.

The sprint is a lottery. If Ascot changed it's name to The Curragh for the day, surely Benbaun would get confused enough and decide to win

But it all depends if he likes Ascot.

trying to get a nice jackpot ticket for the Curragh today but Ill have to single Lizard Island to make it affordable.

US Ranger looks to be miles clear on ratings and he should win very easily. I cant see him being beaten today and I dont even know who will come 2nd, they all look much of a muchness with the possible exception of Evening Time who might be good reverting to sprinting.

At Ascot, I like Silver Touch in the Diadem if the ground is soft enough. I might throw something at Baltic King as well.

I wouldn't want to bet US Ranger at 8/13, but that's just me. Evening Time does have a lot of pace, and i like her.

The ground has dried up at Ascot, especially on the straight track. They are calling it "good" but it might even be a little quicker than that, but it's still on the soft side on the round course.

am so gutted now as I wanted to back USR to beat nos 4,6,7 and 8 but entered it in wrong and did 4,5,6,7 so missed out on a pretty nice exacta hit.. radio commentator said he won very easily at the end.. EDIT 63.60 exacta.. DAMN!!

Zaham is also a horse i like a lot..... at one point i thought Zaham was going to do Ask, and with my recent run of bad luck that would have just took the buscuit!

Ask travelled very well and it was his turn of foot that won the race. Any horse who shows a turn of foot over twelve furlongs on softish ground is a horse to be reckoned with at the highest level.

The Arc would surely come too soon, but it has been said that there has been a lot of each way support for him in the last couple of weeks.
