![]() Lava Man is obviously one of the greatest claims ever. I'm just thinking about some of the great claims of this game and would like to hear other stories of great claims including personal ones or first hand knowledge of great claims. It's always nice to claim a horse who takes it another level, produces a nice profit, and brings everlasting memories. It's one of the many great aspects of this game.

![]() I always liked Unrullah Bull from the Cole Norman stable, I guess because it was a horse I grew up watching in my neck of the woods...the horse was a Conquistador Cielo gelding that Cole claimed for $25K at Lone Star from Wes Hawley and won SEVERAL stakes after the claim, including a couple of graded stakes....nice horse and a helluva claim....made several hundred thousand after the claim....

![]() Great Cummunicator was another gelding that was claimed and won a Breeder Cup race and a few graded stakes. He made over a million after his claim.

![]() They had a list of the greatest "earners that were claimed". Lavaman just passed Budroyale for the top spot on Saturday.
I may still have the race on tape and I can look up the rest of the list when I get home if ya want.

![]() Its one thing to take a horse for 50K or 60K and see them become a stakes winner; after all, older open 50-60K claimers generally run pretty fast. Beyer pars in the mid 90s. How about a horse claimed out of a M10000 who becomes a graded stakes winner? Lord of the Game was claimed out of the M10 race from WinStar back in December of 2004. I also remember a gelding named Recoup the Cash get claimed out of a 15000 NW2 and go on to become a graded stakes winner.
