I've asked two different people at Godolphin. One has said Windsor Knot, and the other has said Blue Ksar. You'll be happy to hear that i trust the guy who said Blue Ksar the most.

I think they could finish first and second here. Both enjoy soft ground and are very consistant.

Windsor Knot won i'm afraid. Blue Ksar third. You have to laugh at Frankie for getting on the 'wrong one' again. Does he have a clue at all? He is stable jockey and gets first pick and he still chooses the wrong one. Useless

That could also be true. How anyone would have Frankie as their number one, i will never know. There again this is Godolphin i'm talking about!

If i was an owner i'd take Ted Durcan (who rode Windsor Knot) everytime over Frankie.

DETTORI BAN BLOW

By Martin Kelly, PA Sport

Frankie Dettori was banned seven days after the Newmarket stewards ruled he failed to ride out for second place aboard Blue Ksar in the Georgia House Stud Darley Stakes.

Dettori challenged his winning stablemate Windsor Knot in the final furlong but eased his mount, the 3-1 favourite, inside the final strides - allowing Mashaahed to fill the runner-up berth.

Dettori was beaten a short head into third and will sit out racing between October 30 and November 5.

Stipendiary steward Colin Vickers said: "Mr Dettori was in breach of Rule 158 in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing.

"The stewards thought he could have finished second on Blue Ksar had he not eased his mount two strides before the line.

"Seven days is the mandatory punishment for losing second or third place."

I didn't see the race, but i heard that happened. A good friend of mine had the exacta Windsor Knot to beat Blue Ksar and he is furious with Frankie. He has just lost £100, when it looked almost certain he was going to collect from that bet.

Frankie is a joke of a jockey and i can't understand why anyone think he's any good at all. The godolphin staff can't stand him, either. They much prefer it when he is banned!

The official Godolphin word.....

WINDSOR KNOT COLLECTS DARLEY STAKES
19 October 2007

Windsor Knot recorded a game victory in the Group Three Georgia House Stud Darley Stakes over nine furlongs at Newmarket on Friday, October 19.
Stablemate Blue Ksar also ran well to finish third.

Having broken well, Windsor Knot was always in a prominent position, stalking early leader Tell in the first half of the contest.

Asked to quicken three furlongs out, jockey Ted Durcan sent the son of Pivotal to the front of the field, and the five-year-old responded well, holding off the challenges of Blue Ksar and Mashaahed to prevail by three-quarters of a length and a short head in a time of 1m 52.38s. The ground was officially described as soft.

Blue Ksar also produced another good performance. Settled towards the rear of the 13 runners, Frankie Dettori made good progress on the four-year-old, coming with a promising run entering the final three furlongs.

The son of Anabaa challenged his stablemate for the lead in the final furlong, before being outstayed in the closing stages. He lost second place on the line to Mashaahed.

Windsor Knot had finished second in the Georgia House Darley Stakes last year, going down to Stage Gift by a short head.

Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor said: "Windsor Knot came out of his Goodwood race well, and I was very pleased with his performance today. He battled well and deserved to win a Group Three today.

"Blue Ksar also ran a good race, although I was slightly disappointed with his idiot of a jockey."
