Raffles Cup beckons Setembro Chove Jo Adams Wednesday, October 24, 2007 Fresh from his outstanding win in the $500,000 Group 1 Panasonic Kranji Mile , Setembro Chove is all ready to add the $500,000 Group 1 Raffles Hotels and Resorts Cup - (sponsored by Raffles Hotels and Resorts) to his tally on Sunday. Trained by Patrick Shaw, Setembro Chove couldn't have hit top form at a better time with the Brazilian bred nominated for the prestigious Hong Kong International races to be run in December. International jockey Robbie Fradd will again be Setembro Chove's partner and under the WFA conditions he should be able to repeat his Kranji Mile effort with all runners bar the four-year-old Lim's Objective (57kgs), to carry 58kgs. |
