Thanks for the PP's...I'd take a flyer on Stronach's firster over TGM. El Prado on top, A.P. Indy on bottom - at least he's bred for the trip...I don't know what stretching TGM out to route distance and trying grass for the first time is supposed to do, but I guess they need to try everything to find out if the thing can run a lick or not. So far, not.

At least they are touring across the country with him.

Can't toss the Monkey or the Frankel firster.

Gallagher and Baze are really going to ask Relentless Pursuit for a big effort. Win or lose I am watching to see if this one ever gets to run on the cushion track.

EDIT- no Lasix on the Frankel firster? is that legal ?

After Wednesday's race for the monkey, it could be on to Golden Gate and a maiden race on Tapeta, gotta' give that surface a try, too?

He's done plenty on the dirt, but adding that stamp on the green would only enhance his already impressive legacy.

I still have some "fear" of a Pletcher move up. He's had other horses that couldn't seem to get a distance but up to about a mile and a sixteenth he has turned them around. The sprints were really speed oriented , and he did flash a little bit of speed (possibly more than any of the other Maidens in this race have)...
Now they have to be focusing on the late run @ 8.5furlongs Turf...

Hard to guess if Gomez is going to be taking the horse out on the lead and trying to "steal" the race, or if he is going to put a hammerlock on and try to finish strong - my guess is the latter but expect a forwardly placed MONKEY regardless

I wonder if Relentless Pursuit is going to have enough speed to run at.

Just got a feeling the Monkey is finally going to atone....but he'll be too short...4/5 to 6/5.
