PHA Race 10: Seek the Truth
Seek The Truth
I had mentioned this speedball on here before. My parents own a shore property and have the pleasure of being the next door neighbors to the trainer's in-laws. Beautiful people, both in and out. I'd be hard-pressed to find better people. Mark and his wife Beth are fresh off of buying a horse farm where they plan to expand their ventures into this awesome, sometimes brutal game. They basically play the claiming game as they don't have the major stock as most. STT is the cream of Mark's crop and she is their beloved pet. On paper, there is not much to like if you don't like the frontrunning type. She really hasn't done much against the allowance type. SHe's coming off of some lackluster performances, her most recents being run off of her feet by similiar company. Each time she has gone out in an ALW, it's been a carbon copy effort. Speed and fade. Well, this time it might be alittle different. I usually go against the one's with early speed who have company up front. Something tells me that she will shine here for Mark. She could've maybe used an extra week or two of freshening, but I suppose that they feel that she can be competitve here without the tag on her. Bet at your own discretion as she burns and fades. Go STT and best of luck to Mark with his barn and his new farm. Oh yeah, almost forgot the best part. The value. It is there in abundance as she is going against some horses that have beaten her before. 12-1 m/l. She will hit the board, this much I know. That much I hope.

Yea, I wonder why. He probably came to his senses and found an easier spot for her to pick up a check. mark has a propensity to scratch when everything doesn't go as planned. A poor man's Frankel if you will.
I'll have my old man get him on the horn to see if everything is okay.
