Default SAT Action - CRC PK4, FG , HOL

Calder

R8 - G3 My Charmer

#9 Fantastic Shirl - Super consistent type seems to get a favorable pace scenario here that suits her late kick.
#2 La Dolce Vita - She does her best running late as well and has been facing some solid competition.
#11 J'Ray - NY bred has been the favorite in her last five and must step up her game to contend with this bunch.
#6 Shapira (Chi) - Hard to ignore anything Mott sends out in graded company, especially at a price. Coming in with back to back wins.

R9 - Three Ring

#1 Indy's Alexandra - Great start to her career for Wolfson as she made minced meat of her ALW foes in last by 13 1/4 lgts. She's working well and is strictly the one to beat.
#5 Silk Ride - If you're feeling a little brave and want to try to take the favorite down, here's the one to look at. She should be forwardly placed and is 4 for 8 at Calder including the Brave Raj at CRC..

R9 - What a Pleasure

#3 Check It Twice - Stalker type has speed to his outside that should set it up for him late. Owns top BSF 88 and has improved with every race.
#5 Coal Play - Up front with fractions of 22.3 and 45.3 to barely hang on in Maiden score going the one turn mile at Belmont. He must rate here unless he's as good as his stablemate War Pass (BC Juvy Champ).

R10 - G3 Tropical Turf Handicap

#6 Go Between - Coming in with victories in the LaD BC handicap and G3 Fayatte at KEE. Good shipper brings his race just about every time.
#3 Ballast (Ire) - Defending champ looking for 1st victory of the year, but this is his preferred distance.
#5 Magic Mecke - Blinks come on after dull effort in last. He has home course advantage with 20 starts and 8 wins on the Calder lawn. Will try to hold home turf at a price.
#8 Fishy Advice - Never off the board at the distance and has the G3 Knickerbocker under his belt. Note that the 2nd place finisher (Thorn Song) came back to win the G3 River City at CD last weekend. SCR

All Stakes PK4 - 2 6 9 11 / 1 / 3 / 3 5 6 = $12 - punch it a few times.

Deeper Ticket - 2 6 9 11 / 1 5 / 3 5 / 3 5 6 = $48

Fair Grounds

R9 - Tenacious Handicap

#7 Steve's Double - He's in razor sharp form after taking the G3 Perryville at KEE and should not have a problem with the stretchout for Werner.
#5 Crossword - The poor man's Student Council is regally bred, but has been unsuccessful when the competition gets tougher. He's ran out of conditions, but I expect him to secure the place position here.

Milk of Magnesia / Cold Exacta - 7 5

Hollywood

R8 - G2 Bayakoa

#7 Grain of Truth (GB) - Powerful finish in Alw win at KEE and is working like a champ in the mornings.
#5 Tough Tiz's Sis - Didn't care for the slop and is 2 for 2 on Synth surface for Baffert/Gomez combo.

R9 - MSW Turf

#1 Stag On the Run - Mullins has a knack of taking his picture with Florida shippers that land in his barn at 1st asking.
#9 Elusive Schemes - Came up a bit short versus similar and improvement is expected.

$5 DD - 5 7 / 1 9 = $20

Good Racing Luck

Thanks Kev, I know you're chomping at the bit for TBD next weekend. I love turf racing as well and will be making some spot plays there.

Hi,

Here's my late P4 (Races 8 - 11) at Calder:

4,8,9 w/1 w/3,5 w/1,2,3,6,9 = $30

I don't play Calder very much but figured I'd play their Grand Slam P4 today. Is there a speed bias at a 1 1/8th coming out of that shute with the Turf rail at 0 ft?

Good luck to all.

Rain overnight has caused HOL to be off the Turf.

R9 - #9 Elusive Schemes - Scratch

Add #6 Crimson Dynamo - Dollase runner has been training well at CD for his 2nd start and adds the hood.

Bogey great day of picks, thanks for posting. I hope you loaded up on the straight exacta an FG. I didn't include the 6 in the last at Hwood and now that the race is off the turf I see why you added him. I only used the 1,2,7.

Thanks King, I did catch the cold exacta at the FG. Good luck at HOL.
