SAT - CRC & HOL stakes
Calder Race Course
R3 - Alw 24.5KN1X #8 Dulansky - Rough trip in the Appleton Juvy Turf on 11/10 at $3.60 to 1. He was almost wiped out at the start. He broke his maiden on this course in impressive fashion (5 3/4 lgts). 2 year old Gelding figures to get a better trip and re-unites with Raymundo Fuentes. R5 - Sunny Issues #3 Tanguista (FR) - Clement runner found the winner's circle in 2nd U.S.start. Should be closer up to the pace. #10 Queen Joanne - 2 for 5 on the lawn including a nice 2nd in the Pebbles at BEL two back. She was wide in last as the favorite in the Scoot Stakes at AQU. #7 Cher Ami - Wants the front and will get it. Hasn't visited the sod since last season at TBD, but comes in with back to back 99 BSF efforts. R6 - MSW 23K #8 Da'Tara - Stretches out for Zito after running 2nd to stable-mate and G2 KyJockeyClub winner Anak Nakal. #6 Sir Hughes - Showing consistent string of works since 9/11 for debut. #2 I am Awesome - Makes 5th start for Zito and attracts top jock Trujillo. R7 - Md 40K #3 Dealer Beware - Clement drops and is training well at Payson Park. #9 Chrisodey - Drops for a tag after showing speed going longer. #6 Noble Tiger - Speedster looks to last on the front end. PK3- 3 7 10 / 2 6 8 / 3 6 9 = $27 R9 - Md 50K #2 Homeroom Angel - Best race came on the turf and the blinkers come off. #4 Amanyara - Nicely bred filly has been beaten by over 40 lgts in two starts. Goes a route for high % J/T combo. R10 - OC25K/N2X #6 Labadeel - Makes U.S. debut for McLaughlin after facing Alw runners in Europe. #3 Twiceasbeautiful - Turf router tries sprinting on the dirt. #1 Entry - Pleasa will scratch one, but both have been facing better. R11 - Sonic Gray #3 Cat Can Do - 6 wins in 15 starts at CRC. #4 Amazing Speed - Another one who loves CRC. #5 Running Lass - Has speed, but the distance is a question. #1 Leap in the Sun - 2 for 3 at the distance and switches turf to dirt for Pleasa. PK3 - 2 4 / 1 3 6 / 1 3 4 5 = $24 Hollywood Park R5 - G1 Hollywood Turf Cup #2 Champs Elysees (GB) - Juddmonte homebred makes U.S. debut in Grade 1 for Frankel. Faced Group company in last 8 and adds Lasix. Also, he wouldn't mind it if the turf comes up a little on the soft side. R9 - G3 Native Diver #1 Ravel - Talented runner dominated Alw foes in his return at KEE for Pletcher and looks primed for big effort. #2 Hello Sunday (FR) - Consistent type could pick up the pieces and secure the place spot. Good Racing Luck

I apologize to anyone that went to the window (like me) and tried to wager on a PK3 at Calder starting with Race 9. Well, we know that Calder doesn't offer a PK3 on the 1st leg of their PK4. I played the races individually and did OK, but I didn't play the PK4. A very strange weekend for me, especially with the PK4 at Delta Downs last night.

Gus..
You're on fire.. Fabulous job at CRC yesterday... And boy, you ain't kidding when you say you had an odd weekend at the windows. By all rights, every Xmas gift you need to buy was paid for with your opinion Friday night and Saturday! Not to worry... Typically when you get in this zone it lasts a while... Keep pitchin'!
