Default Brazilian Troop to Dubai

Hi!!

Some info about brazilians going to dubai this year...Hope you enjoy!

To the next Dubai carnival there are a few good horses that have already gone to Dubai or will be shipped in the next weeks...the most talented are:

L'Amico Steve (called the brazilian Seabiscuit) - he used to be an ordinary horse...he was acquired at an auction by merely US$5.000 and then was extended to run at 2.400m. on the turf. On his next 8 starts he won 7..including brazilian most important race (GP Brasil - G1). He also got 2nd place at GP São Paulo - G1...almost as important as GP Brasil;

Select Reason - Good sprinter;

Bain Douche - Very talented colt. Won the first leg of the São Paulo's triple crown (here we have 2 major triple crowns...one in São Paulo and another at Rio de Janeiro...both with the best horses of the country)but was disclassified to 2nd place;

Ukrainian - Good dirt specialist (here in Brazil our main races are on the turf, and there are not too graded races for dirt specialists);

Olympic Glory - Very good filly;

Olympic City - Good filly;

Vampiro - Very good horse to run on the dirt. He went to Dubai on the last carnival but he didn't race due to some minor physical problems. He is really good people say.

There are other good brazilian horses already running in Dubai, like Quebec Citizen, Impossible Ski, New Freedom, etc.

By now, those i've mentioned above are the good horses I know are going to Dubai. If I have any new info (and I'll have, since these horses are the horses of one trainer alone), I'll let you know!

Bye,
Felipe

Thanks for posting this.

It's only fair that all of the Dubai fans get to read your opinions of these horses.

They do so well at the Carnival, and I doubt 2008 will be any different.

He is a very versatile horse...he goes well both on the dirt and on the turf...he is a graded stakes winner on both surfaces...
He was never one of the top contenders of his generation...but he was always among them....3rd, 4th place...i like him...

But...of his generation (southern hemisphere 4 yo)...i prefere Glória de Campeão...which is scheduled to run today too...but prefers the turf...imo
