Default 12/22 Hollywood pick4

don't believe in gregs gold today and taking a free pass on the maiden race.
2 4 // all // 2 7 8 // 1 4
$108

Default Hollywood Early Pick 4

I'm with you on Greg's Gold.
The definite value in the pick 4 is beating him.

1) 2,3
2) 2,5,6
3) 8
4) 1,2,3

$18 for $1

Good luck!

Aaron Gryder just said that there is value in betting Gregs Gold at 1/9.

I can't believe that pick 4 paid $240 for $1.

Better luck at the late pick 4 (which will pay a lot, lot more than that).

Default Late Pick 4

8) 1,2,5,8,9
Feel uneasy about this race, and just want to get by it.

9) 2,10,14
Not including Col. John, despite nice win in the Real Quiet, plus his debut turned out to be the key maiden race at the Del Mar meet. Despite this, the Real Quiet was basically an allowance field, and this is much, much tougher. At short odds, I'll try and beat him. Love Monba and Referee from Pletcher, and wanted to include either Into Mischief or Massive Drama, and just decided to go with the Baffert's charge.

10) 2,3,4,8
Taking a stand against the Mitchell horse Quinton's Shocker. Don't like the layoff and drop in for a tag. The horse is only 3 years old, so if he is good as looked last summer, he wouldn't be in this race. This the 2 horse can surpriseif he has anything at all left in the tank (at a nice price).

11) 6
Had to single here, as I didn't want to go any higher on this ticket. Could be Hollendorfer's 5000th win. Gotta love the cut back in distance, and the old reliable Mike Smith-off angle as well.

5x3x4x1 = $60

Good luck to all and go riddance to the fall hollywood meet!

Well, that decision cost me $1300. The last leg I obviously meant the 7 horse in my ticket (I had the early form w/out numbers...6 horse was scratched).

Tough way to end the meet.
