Default Calder, 12-29

Early pick 4

Race 1: Wide open affair, #1 Sensational Affair may end up being a stand out, but can't single.. also using the 2,3,and 5 (deeper tickets could also use 7 and 8)

Race 2: Looks like just two, #5 Okinawa, and #7 Pompey Chimes.

Race 3: Spreading a bit, using #'s 1,2,3 and 5 (with a slight edge towards #2 Imroyallymecked).

Race 4: #10 Elysium Fields ships in for Tagg, need only repeat his Laurel efforts (#5 White Shoes can also be used).

The Play:
1,2,3,5 (7,8)
5,7
1,2,3,5
10 (5)

Race 5: #4 Skiff's Image shows the classic "0-2-X" pattern, 4-1 ML

Race 6: #3 Sweet Sugar, a Philly shipper for DWL (?) appears to be the most likely winner. #5 Dunkinfield, a firster for Alexander may be a runner.

Race 7: #3 Port Royal's only dirt sprint was exceptional, don't like the ML, but may run away with this not so evenly matched race (on paper, anyway). #2 Brush on By is also fast. MCL's #4 Lucky Island, who knows???

Race 8: Toss #2 Cher Ami's turf effort in last, and she is a stand out here. #4 Change Up ships in from Kentucky, solid.

Race 9: Wide open turf stakes, leaning towards #8 Fearless Eagle.. must consider #7 Birdbird and #9 Buffalo Man, also #10 Mysterious Peintre.

Race 10: #6 Amazing Speed got away easy in last, ran big.. could do it again, but I'm leaning against. #4 Annabil, toss her last on turf, looks very tough here. I like the pattern on #10 Catcando, perhaps a use at a price. #3 Potra Classica, usually runs well off a layoff.

Race 11: the 2nd turf stakes, #1 Sweet Ransom gets the rail, last at Keeneland was exceptional. #3 Beautiful Venue, faster than she looks, 20-1 ML. #9 Maddy's Heart ships in, looks solid.

Race 12: #1 Hope to Dance is fastest, but her last (1st for trainer Cruise) was awful, tough call. #2 Go Fly a Kite has a few quality back figs, runs 2nd off the layoff today. #4 Lancette's Wager and #7 Navarre Light are OK.

good luck to all!!!

If someone is looking to piss away $9, I would play this ticket at Calder

7: 2,5,9
8: 3
9: 7,9,10

This is why this game is so damn tough. Due to previous losses, when this race came around, despite this correct opinion, all I managed to have was a modest win wager on Fearless Eagle.. No exacta, No trifecta.....
KILLER!
