Default 12/30: Aqueduct (4th-9th)

Mandatory year end payout at AQU today with uncertainty for New Year's Day still hanging over S. Ozone Park...

AQUEDUCT

4th: NYB-MSW, 2yo-F, 6f (P6, P3, .10 Super)

Best Value: #3 STAID 9-2 5th
Most Likely: #6 Quixotic Lassie 3-1 WON
Next Best: #2 Crane Bay 7-2 3rd
Exotics Add: #9 Chicks Are Better 12-1 2nd

5th: NYB-ALW/N1X, F&M-3+, 6f (P3, G/S)

VERY tricky state bred allowance here.. Leaving out but fear #7 Twistaway (3-1) 3rd, whose race two back could be good enough here with last coming from difficult launch point, and Hushion's #6 Sky Ballet (7-2) 7th, who appears capable with third career improvement..

Best Value: #2 (POE) Court and Spark 8-1 8th
Most Likely: #9 Heavenly Ballad 4-1 12th (?!)
Next Best: #5 Villify 12-1 3rd
Exotics Add: #1e A. Dutrow entry 6-1 WON/2nd

6th: MSW, 2yo-F, 6f (P4, DD)

Best Value: #7 Najaran's Star 10-1 5th
Most Likely: #1e MCLAUGHLIN ENTRY 1-2 WON/2nd
Next Best: #5 Misty Daylight 15-1 7th

7th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 1m (P3)

Best Value: #9 Libertarian 8-1 5th
Most Likely: #5 South Pacific 5-1 6th
Next Best: #4 Quick and Easy 3-1 WON
Exotics Add: #8 Collect the Purse 12-1 9th

8th: NYB-Robb H., 3+, 8.5f (DD, .10 Super)

Best Value: #9 Who What Win 5-1 5th
Most Likely: #7 Indian Hawke 5-2 7th
Next Best: #10 Naughty New Yorker 3-1 WON
Exotics Add: #3 Run Red Run 8-1 3rd

9th: NYB-ALW/N1X, 3+, 6f (.10 Super)

Best Value: #1 Foose 6-1 4th
Most Likely: #8 True Wood 5-2 WON
Next Best: #10 Gold Shamrock 8-1 6th
Exotics Add: #5 Lycense to Win 20-1 9th

<$150 P6 Play:

4: 3
5: 1-2-5-9 (6-7)
6: 1
7: 5-9
8: 7-9-10
9: 1-8-(10)

1x4x1x2x3x3 = 72 x $2 = $144 (or 1x6x1x2x3x2 = 72 x $2 = $144)

<$50 P4 Play:

6: 1
7: 4-5-8-9
8: 7-9-10
9: 1-5-8-10

1x4x3x4 = $48

Good luck!
Steve

Nice work Nick. Straight A's so at least we get it for a few bucks...

However, would have much rather caught a "C" in one of the legs.

Live to fight another day...

not the result we were looking for, but live to play another day. Wish the 11 got uncorked a little earlier, he finished well. Nice job Steve, was hoping for a better price, but came up chalky.

Just want to thank Steve for posting his choices today. I was able to construct a $12 pick 4 ticket and get $65 in return. Was alive to the three in the last, but just happy to win. Thanks Steve. Congrats to all who played and hit.

I don't know if you're aware of this or not but

Chicks Are Better would've won the race if Hill didn't inexplicably switch the whip and CHANGE TO A NEW SET of GOGGLES a few strides before the wire, losing significantly enough momentum for the winner to go by. It was bad enough the horse didn't change leads but he only had a few more strides to the finish.

TFM,

Thx! Will watch the replay... Missed it live as I had a guest to the house.

I hadn't seen this race yesterday, started on the 6th, but I just looked at the replay and boy, what the hell was Hill thinking? Nice catch, fat man, it does look like Hill thought he had this race wrapped up, but why even attempt to remove the goggles at this point? Unless he was completely blinded, his handling in those last strides is inexplicable.
