Champion Hurdle winner?
Sizing Europe was so impressive today.. though, if i was to knock him, he didnt jump like a potential champ today and there must be question marks if the others ran up to form.. still though, he looks very progressive.

Jumped like a chaser didn't he? Which is almost certainly what he is. Still, the division is weak and he was impressive, and there has to be a chance that he'll be able to get away with being that little bit awkward over the hurdles.
Don't know how he'll be rated for that. My guess is that, with Hardy Eustace and Al Eile essentially reliable types you can have them running to their recent best and SE running to a solid 165-6ish. But there's little doubt that he is open to more improvement given the style of success. I probably wouldn't back him at 11/4 or so given that, whilst he has won on good, his two standout efforts have come on soft, and there has to be a niggling doubt as to whether he'll be able to prove quite as effective on faster ground. That said, he is the most likely winner .

I was moving all of my stuff earlier and missed the AIG. I'm on Aitmatov ante post for the champion, but heard he was pulled up??? That surely isn't his running.
The Champion Hurdle is looking like a weak race this year (well, weak for what we are used to), In fact, the whole Cheltenham Festival isn't as spectacular as we are probably used to. Many of the races are already two horse events. We also have essentially soft ground horses towards the top of the markets when the festival will almost certainly be run on good ground. There might be a few big priced winners this year, but they might not be shocks.
