Default Curlin is going to Dubai

The Star-Telegram reports it, and the Dispatch has it.

He's leaving February 15.

I'm admittedly no expert on international racing but based on the American horses' powerful records in the World Cup, I'd have to imagine Premium Tap is Curlin's biggest danger. I would imagine Curlin will be awfully tough in the World Cup 2nd off the layoff though.

YAY!!! Of course they will most likely send him to the breeding shed because he will have accomplished everything that would raise his stud value, but I don't hold it against them because I would have done the exact same thing with a horse that is this special. My prediction...he smokes the field in Dubai. There isn't a horse in the world that can run with this animal when he fires, and he has that long Dubai stretch to help him out.

Your last prediction on this board was that Street Sense was lame and wouldn't even start in the Derby. You saw it with your own eyes.....while watching TV. It's not your horse judging skills I don't believe, it is your remote manipulation, and my guess is you were watching " Mr. Ed " by mistake and got confused. Happens to the best of us.

Tons of stallions begin breeding mares in May. Maybe they will send him directly to Australia 1st then shuttle him back to the US?

While I am all for going for the cash, and I am obviously not a trainer, nor will I ever be, but wouldn't it be beneficial to get this horse a 8f prep before going a bizillion miles to run 10f's without meds, off a layoff.

Just going there seems like a recipe for disaster.
