Default The Last at Tampa

Hey Bigs,

Just curious why you left out the 8 horse in the last race???? Hot Jock, good trainer??? I realize the ML odds at tampa are not the greatest, lol. Just curious??? You guys have been killing it down there in Tampa. Keep up the great work. Any insight appreciated.

Guido

Love how the two DRF selection cappers chose the powerhouse tandem of Kate Demasi/Craig Faine as their second choice in the race

I'm using the 8 as my second choice; I'm willing to toss the 26-1 record considering who was on her back for the majority of the year...Has a win over the track and close both recent times at 10k so the drop fits plus, like you mentioned Guido, you can do a lot worse convincing C. Montalvo to take your mount...I think it's the 3 race to lose, but the 8 fits nicely..

She had the lead last out at 49 and 1 and still threw out an anchor. 48 and 3 in her previous with the same results. The 3 and the 6 will not let her have an easy lead and without that easy lead, she is cooked.

That said, if I had unlimited funds, I'd hit the all button in the last. It looks to be a crapshoot. I think the 10 is going in the right direction and would be my value play.

Race 8

Wow. The trainer that was 1 for 53 last year is now 1 for 1 this year. There have been very very few first off Finger Lakes winners here this year. I gave this horse no chance and couldn't have been more wrong.

Next.

You and me both Bigs - used 6 of 'em there and still missed the 7....was not crazy about the layoff coming out of FL...no works over the track and pretty poor trainer stats...I guess the only thing that made the play appealing was the drop out of MSW to a pretty suspect mcl25 (looked more like a 12.5) but wasn't enough for me to use

Default Tampa Sunday

Was live until the last race with the 3,4,8 3$ Pick 3. The 6 got me. You called it, he took the lead and never slowed down. On to tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
