Anyone planning to come to the Big A Saturday?

Gonna miss Big A in favor of Big Easy -- going to Fair Grounds for Louisiana Derby and its supporting cast of stakes! Hope to see fellow DTers there.

Chris,
I might be the same way. Weather is not looking good, and they have already moved up the post times today

Was going to head out but the forecast has made me change those plans. Going to place a few bets and head to a beer fest in Brooklyn instead.

Would love to be at Big A today, but after watching nothing but a grey screen on my TV I am glad that I am on the couch today!

I just saw the absolutely strangest thing.

Was watching the running of the 4th race and I actually saw horses GAINING on the OUTSIDE. Go figures, when it rains the ENTIRE track gets wet. When the NYRA crew works on the track, only the inside get attention, apparently.

Nothing like torrential rain to even things out a bit.

Way to go crew.

Cardus,
Yes a bit late but it was a strong ale fest at Mugs Ale House. Great time
