Default Le Entourage

from the 6th at FG today...

Thanks Eddie Martin, for being undecisive

Never see 25-1 on that one again. Still paid $19 in the middle though. Lost all chance once the momentum was stopped.

I saw that one, she ruined my super. I took a long look. hmmm by Smart Strike from a Theatrical mare? should roll on turf, right? but with it being a 4yo debut and ice cold on the board i passed.

AJ....being that the race was restricted to 4 & 5 year olds, I figured with A.)the breeding and B.)the others all having had a chances to break their maidens, that the horse was a must use.

As usual though, I didn't play an exacta, using 1 or 2 other horses with Le Entourage, that made sense (like the winner did).

$254 exacta with a $9 horse on top...

I continue to be a sh*tty bettor

well its just one race, not going to make the right move every time. i wish i would have liked her as much as you as I would have landed a very nice super.

Its strange because while I left her out, in the back of my mind I knew it was a mistake, and when I saw her get rolling when in the clear, I wasn't surprised at all.

Super run by the winner. Where'd that come from?

P.S. I was at the Galapagos a few decades ago during a time where El Nino was about as dry as they'd experienced for quite a while. The FG turf course looks quite a bit like that. How can the turf course be so PARCHED when the area had had quite a decent amount of rain this winter?

Not saying that she would have won, but having her momentum slowed down enough certainly took ALL chance of her winning the race. Eddie just seemed real indecisive as to where to go after making the turn for home. He did a good enough job saving ground throughout, but he clearly cost her (and me ) a chance at winning.
