Default the new seattle slew

from haskin's article today at bh:

“He’s a monster, I’m telling you; this horse is a monster,” he said. “I don’t want to jinx our boy, but I watched every one of Seattle Slew’s races, and I’m telling you, this horse is as close to Slew as any horse I’ve ever seen. His athleticism is unbelievable; he’s poetry in motion. He’s like a machine.”

-Bob LaPenta two days before the Tampa Bay Derby

"Like a machine" La Penta said. So War Pass is like Slew and Secretariat in his expert opinion. Don't forget, Zito has to deal with this guy. Must be tough.

Later in that article they mispelled Icabad Crane. They spelled it Ichabad Crane. Took me an hour to track down the correct spelling.

Cool Monster!@#$%^&*

Perhaps Mr. LaPenta should watch the replay of the 1977 Kentucky Derby where 'Slew' was squeezed and shut off at the start but still managed to bull his way through horses to lead going into the first turn. Get a grip!!!!!!
