Default Nicanor photos

http://cs.bloodhorse.com/blogs/nican...-pictures.aspx

He's a looker for such a young lil thing ain't he? A bright and shiny new 2yo and he's feeling good clearly. I wish him the best. I hope we get to see him run given how not all of them make it despite the best intentions and all the talent in the world. He seems like he might have something to him but I could just be seeing what I want to see. Good luck Nicanor!

How do you pronounce Nicanor? Seems like it could cause some problems when intoxicated.

I think you say Nicanor 'NICK-a-nore' but I could be wrong. "Barbaro" just flowed off the tongue didn't it?

Sounds like a sedative.

Phenobarbarotol would work
just as well.

Name means victory, or victorious man, victorious people, and is another way to pronounce it is "nik-an-ore".

He sure looks great and I look forward to seeing how far he goes.
I read that there is another younger brother as well, but never heard what they named him. Anyone know?

http://www.millridge.com/barbaros-family.aspx Here's pics of both Lentanor and Nicanor. Check out the look in Lentanor's eyes and he's got that star. I'd speculate that it's Lent-a-nor. I know not everyone wanted the Jacksons to go back to Dynaformer now going on 4 times but I get that they want a filly plus we wouldn't have lil Lentanor here would we?

Calypso's taken and that's another name in the print. Maybe when it frees up they'll snag it but it might be awhile. Random info of the day: the mare, Calypso was bred by Jim Tafel.

Yeah, little Lentenor also has that little snip that Barbaro had. I think the 04 La Ville Rouge foal was by Quiet American - he was named Man in Havana. Never made it to the track, was gelded and I think is now owned by Barbaro's old excercise rider.
