Default Aqueduct Thursday...

I am going to start posting my picks everyday... just the exacta, maybe a best bet, and longshot play........... i am doing this for myself, for practice to become a better handicapper...i wont be betting every horse, there will be some days i might not bet at all, and i am no KKM, but i think i can do ok.

Race 1-
REYANA'S JET- won last easily, decent number... could bounce, but i think she is just better then these
TOO TIRED TONIGHT- well bet as of late, i like the price and jockey change

Race 2-
Z TO K FEVER- drop down, think he could sit a good trip
PRINCESS MARLY-

Race 3-
SWIFT TEMPER- Kiran, and looks to be the only legit closer in a small group filled with speed.
MULLIGATAWNY- to me, she is the speed most likely to keep going through a duel.

Race 4-
INSIDE INFO- appears to be 1 of only 2 real turf horses in the field.... could be some pace to run at if the 6 and 8 hook up.
SOLID STRIKE- classy contessa coa

Race 5-
STRAIGHT ROMANCE- drop down, appears to be the speed of the speed
THE VILLAGE VICAR- decent work.. first off claim.

Race 6- horrible group IMO, wide open
RING BERNADETTE- drop down....
FINAL RESOLUTION- should be able to make lead, if sent !

Race 7-
HIGH BRASS- very well bet at gulfstream first out, showed some speed, very fast pace.... tired... expect a lot better today
RIPTIDE (ARG)- one turf try was big.... donk is hot... and cc is my boy

Race 8-
ANGELIC AURA- should be on the lead... horse who beat him last, is getting very good, held well for second in last
1 ENTRY... both parts look logical

Race 9- another horrible race... chalk has never ran a lick, but is 2-1 morning line
JOHN'S JEAN- i was tought at a young age that sciacca is mean on the green.....
LITTLE LEGEND- showed a little late in last, might wake up on turf

value play is High Brass in the 7th, i will def. be betting him to win.
lock of the day is.....NONE, hard competitive card.

Not saying she can't win tomorrow. . . and I don't even have the PPs for tomorrow. . . But off the top of my head I think Swift Temper wants turf.

no... she has ran twice on the turf... beaten a combined 26 lenghts....comment lines are... never dangerous and never a factor..

this is a small field but its full of speed, she should get the perfect setup to win today

Well, I don't see anything until the 6th here at Aqueduct, the "wide open" group of 35k Maiden claimers. I'll shoot for some cash with an exacta box of Miracle Twin Dan/Justin P

Big Al in the 7th, along with a DD of the above two horses with Big Al. 50/50 he wins

$16.40 on Levine MSW/MCL? Damn those are some gaudy numbers...

F'd the pick3, came back with double in attempt to salvage.

Sciacca takes finale to cap off a nice pick4 return of $2,513.

I let the rider change on the 4 in the 8th spook me and abandoned what may have been a winning play. Had winners A,C,A,A. Instead of sticking to the program, pissed $$ on a pk3 and DD.

Levine(Msw,Mcl) / Donk(grass) Mid-day Double pays $192. What a difference a day makes.

On to Friday. Weather is supposed to be unreal tomorrow...75 and sunny.

PG - As much as I really hate to encourage you... You did have 5 of the pick 6 using your two selections.

So...........good work today. .

One of the saddest cards in a long time at the Big A today.....maybe they should contract their racing schedule with a couple of horrible clinkers the last two weeks on Wed and Thursday.....WTF is going on here?? When did Aqueduct become Charles Town?
