Default For trade 2 washed up closers for anything

Milwaukee brewers just announced that they are accepting offers for the following 2 washed up closers

Gagne 4 blown saves 8.31 ERA
Turnblow 9.64 ERA

Will take anything- preferrably a case of beer in trade

I know it is April, but these 2 are horrific!

Didn't everybody laugh when they signed Gagne? Dodgers deserve their ass kickin' for signing A. JONES,and Milwaukee sure deserves theirs for signing a guy with nothing left.

Unfortunately they really didn't have a choice. They tried to sign Cordero, but were the Reds came in at $4million over their offer and stole him away. They gave Gagne a 1 year deal so the risk was low. Fortunately for Gagne the brewers were able to fight back and win 3 out of the 4 blown saves for him so it doesn't look as bad as it could.

How about trading them for a washed up starter Barry Zito.

They actually could have tried to pry Fuentes away from Colorado. Much better option than Gagne.

Depending on what they would have had to give up, that would have made a lot more sense, plus give them another left handed arm in the pen.

Cordero's a very smart man, mo $$ less work!
The reds couldn't hit a pinata with an atom bomb while guys are on base.

Nice pitcher last night though.Guy was throwing 94-98 in the 7th inning.I don't know if it really means much though, because the Dodgers aren't a good test.Once they get behind, your reds (or anybody else )can hit the Dodgers pretty well, huh? They quit.If they have a team meeting, then they can hit some. That's the way the Dodgers are(need motivation.)Very mentally weak bunch.Probably the most mentally weak team I have ever seen.If you have to have a meeting to get yourself "up" to beat somebody then you're weak. They all got atleast one hit tonite(against A'ZONA.)F'N PAWN SCUM SHOULD BE DOING THAT EVERY NIGHT,OR ALMOST EVERY NIGHT.

A case of Schlitz is on the way for when you are having more than one.
