![]() Must be he's just getting in some experience. And Charles Simon claims a colt out of this race.

![]() Pretty disappointed today. Always acted and trained like he would be better than that. Chalk it up to experience. Good luck Chuck with your claim!

![]() Churchill is hard to figure. You never know how a horse will take to that track until a race. Some like it, some definately do not.

![]() I think he goes squarely in the "does not" category. On the positive side, his brother, Sonoran Desert is recuperating well after his surgery.

![]() Pgiaco - what is next for your horse since he didn't take well to the Churchill surface?

![]() Whodey, he's getting the once over to see if there is anything physically wrong with him. He cooled out quickly, like he didn't expend too much energy and he seems fine but we'll take a look at everything, scope him, etc. Assuming he's ok maybe we'll try blinkers, let him train over the CD track to see if he really doesn't like it. ( I may have been hasty by implying that he didn't like the track as an excuse for his non-effort). If that is the case we'll wait for some NY bred races at Belmont--he can come in with Cape of Storms for the Mike Lee--or he'll go to Finger Lakes and ply his trade there.
This really was the last thing we expected out of him today so it'll take a little bit to regroup. Not giving up on him yet. This game is teaching me patience and how not to make snap decisions.
