Default Belmont 5/18

Anyone out there playing Belmont today? Spot play in 6th, #1 Nina Marie shows :45 speed on the turf and ships in for a trainer who is 1/1 at meet. Not a lot of speed here, she may be able to wire this field at a decent price.

GL to you guys. This is an interesting race and the board is reflecting that. I am thinking the 1 has the speed to get the lead and if she can keep them to :46 or slower she should have enough in the tank to get the 7f. Even though she has been running shorter, she shows she is ok at distance with a 2nd and 3rd with 2 trips at it.

Declean, intersting that Sciacca moves this one so far up off the claim. I am not sure how well he does at that move, but the price is certainly there for you.

Think there is some value in these late races, particularly the 7th and 10th. If only I could find it . . .

No excuse there, she got the fractions I wanted, not enough in the tank. Nice move by Inter Galactic.

Cornelio did all he could to lose this one. But at 9:5 it doesn't really matter.

Unless I am mistaken, Desormeaux is here for only 2 rides today. Have to think that this 2 is well meant in the 7th.

Good point with Kent D, but I haven't heard of this trainer, do you know anything about him? Did he ship over with Casino Drive?

Splitting these late pk4's with pmac:

7- 2,4,7,10,11
8- 6
9- 4,5,6
10- 3,4,5,9,10

7- 2
8- 3,6,7
9- 4,5,6
10- 3,4,5,6,9,10,11,12

Need one of the two singles or it is trying to bail out on a super in 10th. Good Luck. Fat Man, I like the 7 here too.

It didn't matter.

This is yet another example of why the game sucks. Or, another perspective would be: why the game is continually interesting.
It's OBVIOUS that the winner is a much improved horse. And, if I were betting strictly off my charts, she's a stickout. She ran a bangup race last out.

BUT

1) she's only 6:1 -- NO VALUE
2) she's trying much better today (last time she did so she got spanked)

So even if you get by 2, how the **** are you dealing with 1?

other than passing the race
