Default RIP Nashoba's Key

I just got some terrible news. Nashoba's Key died in a freak accident this morning at Hollywood Park. She was in her outdoor pen and she was a little excited and kicked the fence. She got her leg stuck in the fence and broke it badly. They had to put her down.

That just sucks. I had the pleasure of meeting her connections at the Breeders Cup. What very nice people, my condolences go out to them.

what a punch in the gut this news is. I really liked this one.

How long before PETA calls for fines? perhaps total elimination of fences?
